Scuba Diving in Funadhoo Kandu
Location: North East of Hadahaa
A fairly wide channel with southern half of the channel having many ridges with exceptional coral formation.
Coral life: Variety of corals can be found from hard to soft corals.
Marine life: Commonly sighted are white tip reef sharks, green turtles, eagle rays, Napoleon wrasse, big-eye trevallies, tuna, barracudas, large schools of fusiliers and grey reef sharks.
Dive technique: This dive site is suitable to dive in both currents and can have good drift either incoming or outgoing current. During the incoming current enter the water from the outside in front of the channel and drift along the sloping reef or outgoing from inside to outside.
