Scuba Diving in Shigalla Kandu

Location: North East of Hadahaa

A small channel between Funadhoo villigili and Funadhoo, approximately 300 meters long. Inside of the channel is mainly covered with sandy bottom with overall depth of 12-14 meters.

Coral life: Most of the coral will be found on the top reef of the Funadhoo villigil or Funadhoo, covered with digit corals and boulder corals.

Marine life: Commonly sighted are school of fussiliers, sting rays at the bottom with sand eels and near the edge green or hawksbil turtles can be seen.

Dive technique: This dive site is suitable to dive in both currents. Best way is to enter the water from Funadhoo villigili and zig zag from Funadhoo reef back and forth.
