Scuba Diving in Munandhoo Kandu

Location: North East of Hadahaa

Channel between Munandhoo and Mahaddhoo. A fairly short and shallow channel with a good sandy bottom inside the channel.

Coral life: Mostly layers of boulder coral in the corner but on the reef side other corals such digits and table corals can be seen from top reef.

Marine life: Commonly sighted are Napoleon wrasse, bigeye trevallies, tuna, barracudas, large schools of fusiliers and grey reef sharks.

Dive technique: A good dive site to do a channel crossing during incoming current. Best way is to enter from the Munandhoo Corner and follow the reef in the right hand shoulder and to cross and finish the dive to inside corner of Mahaddhoo.
